Today while browsing the soundtrack section of Music Traders; a used CD store, I stumbled across the score release to "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers". I remember way back in 95 a song soundtrack, but I never knew there was a score! And I certainly didn't know Graeme Revell scored it. Anyway I bought it for some odd reason, and I'm glad I did, becuase this score is much better than what I thought.
Its a great full orchestral action-fantasy score with choir. There are alot of great themes and some good action music too. This is the best I've heard from Revell yet, every track as something great to offer! I think if you liked the Titan AE score you'll really love this one, since it's in the same stlye. And what I remember from Titan, Power Rangers sounds better.
I give it 4 stars easily.Anyway I just wanted to let you guys know, that you shouldn't overlook this just becuase its Power Rangers related.

Thanks for the info Tim, I'm going to go out and buy the Power Rangers score right now! Right... Go back to smoking your weed and playing with your Power Ranger dolls my friend, your head is twisted. I'll stick with The Crow and The Saint, thank you very much =) By the way, I thought Titan A.E. as a film SUCKED, and the score blew MORE chunks than the film! Don Bluth sure has gone down the tube.

I was very suprised with the music, I don't think Revell has any scores like this, the closet is Titan AE, and to an extent Street Fighter.
Anyway the only thing that is Power Rangers related to me is the cover art. So it goes on the list of fantastic scores with horrid covers (Anbimal Farm, On the Beach...)Mighty Morphin Power Ranger: The Movie score CD Info w/soundcl
It was released on Varése Sarabande VSD-5672 in 1995. I think the score is OOP, I can't find it online anywhere, and PeterK only has the song soundtrack.[Message edited by TimT on 01-04-2001]
