Has anyone seen this? I downloaded the two score tracks off the soundtrack release and found them to be really nice, more so the track titled 'Promise' which I thought was FANTASTIC! The choiral work reminds me alot of the more magical aspects Edward Scissorhands. I'm curious as to the rest of the music featured in the film. How is it? From the two tracks I've heard it sounds like Elfman has a winner here.

Agreed. I would really like a score release for this one. In fact, the two score tracks on the album aren't nearly as good as a lot of the as-yet unreleased stuff.

In all honesty, the score was more eclectic than I tend to like--especially in comparison to Elfman's own SLEEPY HOLLOW, BATMAN, and his gorgeous BLACK BEAUTY...but the film was more of a pastiche, too. (I still would have loved to have heard a more melodically unified work, nevertheless.)

That said, all the same, Elfman's score is his best work since the aforementioned BEAUTY. It is dreamily poetic. My only regret is that I rushed out to buy the song album not knowing that more would be soon to come! DRATS!!!
