hey people, I guess most of us will be spending Christmas with family, friends and loved ones. So I thought it would be a good idea to have a bit of a shindig before we all go our seperate ways...

Here I am by myself, the Christmas tree light's are on, and there's a fridge full o'Beer, the record player is on blasting out Basil Poledouris's Under Siege 2 in the hope it'll attract the right type of person to this type of party, it's not going too well yet (only me here?!), but I left the front door open.....someone's coming in....who could it be?

...and the first person through the door is...

Just don't play The Spice Girls. I'll take Conan next.

Hey Timmer, I noticed the other day you talked about a sexy naked
vampire (Lifeforce) and used the word “anally.” Oh my, time for mom
to hop on a plane to the UK to have our mom/son birds and bees or facts
    of life talk.

But let’s wait until AFTER the PARTY, the gifts, the carols, the hangovers. (One must
be at her best when explaining delicate issues to the naive. )

Do you have LOTS of food??

Never fear, you shall be foodless no longer. I'm not Chris but I offer these morsels:

Mixed Nuts (Com'on! With this group? You gotta have them)

Smoked Sturgeon (Tender and flaky, sliced razor thin with just a hint of smoke. Served with sourdough bread sliced thin and toasted)

Shrimp Brochette - (Grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon. nestled in the center is a roasted chili pepper for a hint of zing. Served with garlic butter)

Cocktail Weenies - (A pound or two of these plump babies swimming in a homemade barbeque sauce with a touch of sour mash bourbon)

Cajun Fried turkey (sliced and chilled, served with snowflake rolls and condiments. The injected sauce gives the meat a spicy temper without burning the palate.)

Cheese Platter (A tempting mix of Gouda, Cheddar, Muenster, Provolone (Smoked and Regular), Mozzarella, Baby Swiss, and Wundabar all artfully arranged around a small perfectly caramelized wheel of Brie)

Dim Sum ( Chinese dumplings stuffed with ground pork, onion and garlic. Steamed and fried and served with a dipping sauce made from rice wine vinegar, green onion, soy and seasame oil, with a dash of hot bean paste for spice)

Dips (French Onion dip made with toasted onion and garlic and sour cream. A Herb dip with ground basil, tarragon and oregano with a pinch of confectioner’s sugar to sweeten the tongue. Fiery Chipolte dip, made with roasted jalapenos, cilantro, diced and lightly sauteed plum tomatoes and crčme cheese. All dips served with various chips and crackers.)

Vegetable platter (Celery, Broccoli, Carrots, Cauliflower, Cherry Tomatoes , and Zucchini squash all cut for finger sized food and arranged around a ranch dressing so rich that it is sinful.)

Whew! I am tired from all that cooking! I think I will sit back and let the party flow around me and take in all my friends enjoying the festivities of the season.

An unusually muscular Shaun drops by, with that extra set of Robin (as in Batman and...) pajamas for JJ that everybody's been calling me about. You're welcome.
Timmer, may I make a request? For my routines, I dance exclusively to Lalo Schifrin (with the exception of last year's policewomen's "ball", where I did my "thang" to the strains of "Too Shy" by Kajagoogoo). Maestro, cue up "The Bait" from Dirty Harry.....I'm feeling kinda tired.......but naughty! That's for the lay---dies!

Hey, folks! Sorry I'm a little late, but that's some kind of weather out there. Brrrr.... wait a second, let me take off my coat, scarf, and gloves. Betcha there's going to be a major blizzard any time soon now. Hey, what's with JJ? What's he doing dancing on top of the table and where is the other half of his pyjamas? Anyway, I got us a some rum, spices, and lemons to make steamingly good grog and some lighter fluid to get the fireplace going.

We were just hit with half a foot o' the white stuff, so I'm a tad late. Digging out the automobile, don't 'cha know. Thankfully Mr. Ruger was up to the refreshments challenge, and since he has already provided a bountiful buffet of culinary delights, I believe I shall sit right over there and consume this five pound bowl of Coconut Shrimp all by myself. And these Cheese Balls. And these crab stuffed mushrooms. And this Lobster Dip. Oh, and of course, my beloved Chex Mix!
