Bill Brown, I believe. I only know him from his VG score for Trespasser: Jurassic Park. Trespasser is good, but I don't really know what he'll do with Finding Forrester. Guess we'll have to wait and see.NP: The Blue Lagoon, Poledouris

I'm guessing it's either Bill Frisell or Bill Brown. I've never heard about Frisell, but the soundtrack has a lot of Miles Davis. The Frisell cues have titles that kind of look like score-track titles. The one I'm curious about hearing it the first one. Here's the track titles to the soundtrack:
1. Columbia Logo - Bill Frisell
2. Recollections - Miles Davis
3. Little Church - Miles Davis
4. Black Satin - Miles Davis
5. Under A Golden Sky - Bill Frisell
6. Little One - Miles Davis
7. Picture Book - Bill Frisell
8. Lonely Fire - Miles Davis
9. Vonetta - Miles Davis
10. Coffaro's Theme - Bill Frisell
11. Foreigner In A Free Land - Ornette Coleman
12. Beautiful E. - Bill Frisell
13. Happy House - Ornette Coleman
14. In A Silent Way - Miles Davis (Bill Laswell remix)

That sounds like a really great compilation, Miles Davis was a Jazz genious....well recommended if your not familiar...even better pick up Davis's album Kind Of Blue for a wonderful laid back listen

The IMDB lists Bill Brown, but they've added an "additional music" tag after his name. No other composer is listed on the site.
