Finally got the soundtrack to this film and am playing it now.. Does anyone recommend any other scores by Mychael Danna? A great film and a great score.

    - Exotica
    - 8mm
    - Felicia's Journey
and if you can find it, the promo for

From what I understand (and have heard), Danna's scores are usually pretty minimalist. "Ride With the Devil" is supposed to be his "big" score...one proving that he is capable of doing a "big" score sound, even though that is not the path he usually takes. I do own "Ride With the Devil" as well as "Kama Sutra" (which is less remarkable than "Devil".) However, I have also recently picked up "Bounce" (full score by Varese) which is an *excellent* score--it may be minimalistic, (a little Thomas Newman-esque) in some regard, but it is a very nice listening experience. I really recommend that one.
