Hey, Kyp, are you are alright? That's quite a nasty cough you have there. You should probably see a doctor about that.

Hate to say it, but this will probably not happen...it's too damn good to be true(Hi Kyp!)
Really, it was just one line on FSM Friday, there has been no other info given, and who the hell says Goldenthal would score a "videogame movie"(I know that sounds bad, but you all know what I mean right?). He tends to pick and choose his films, and has the bread and status to do so. Any music he would offer to this film would be incredible, and surely he would write some big choral music 'ala TITUS 'ala LIBERA FATALI from the FF game.
I don't play FF....I'd rather watch my brother play it...kinda like a movie ya know!
But I'm sure that unless it's a high profile pic, the Goldenthal gig is just a rumor.
When Mortal Kombat came out, I'm sure there was the same sort of speculation....and it ended up being a low-mid budget pic with a synth score by George Clinton. And Kombat was a big deal back in the day!All I'm saying is that if Goldenthal gets it, the score will be MONEY....if not, expect some meandering synth/drum/choral patches by ::Insert most hated contemporary composer here::
So where is one of our 'informants'(Hi Dan Goldwasser!) with the real scoop?
