Just wanted to let all those interested know the Hollywood Records has messed up big time, and put Best of Nancy Sinatra and Connnie Francis on the CDs by mistake!

Hahahahahahaha, either that is a REAL good joke or Hollywood Records has themselves a huge mess! Heh heh

This reminds me of the time I bought Meatloaf's first album, and when I popped it in the player, some female country artist started singing.

Well... I guess Justin and I will find out soon enough. We both ordered our copies from Moviemusic.com last night. I really doubt that something like this would happen... but then again, stranger things have happened.

    Weird.

My CD has James Newton Howard's score....

    Is that right?

This is pretty funny. Reminds me of a score CD I have (at least the labeling says so), that begins with some dude yelling at the top of his lungs, "Pump out the jams, mother****er!"

I say buy Unbreakable on Tuesday without worry. If Nancy or Connie are crooning away, take it back to the store and get a new one. If that doesn't work, pack up the CD and send it to Hollywood Records (they put their address on CDs for a reason). If you put include your address and original receipt, you'll get the correct version of the CD, and probably some other bonus, in the mail a week later.

dgoldwas, you have nothing to worry about.

Mail ordered a copy of Goldsmith's Twilight's Last Gleaming a number of years ago. Got to me, only it contained some rock band (even though the CD was correctly labeled).

It's probably a collector's item now. Unfortunately, I exchanged it.

Of the more than 600 CDs I have purchased since 1989 this has happened twice. When I got my copy of the new Skinner/Salter CD awhile back it had classical music on it instead. Got it exchanged right away. The other one was around 3 years ago at the Mile High Flea Market in Denver at the big CD seller there. I have bought around 10 there before and no problems. It was labeled Its Alive-Herrmann score on Silva. But on the CD was Horners Star Trek III score. Still have that one if anyone wants it, let me know. John.

Strange how a mishap like this is coming from such a large company like Hollywood Records. All those who happen to get the false score, hold on to it! It might be worth money some day

I had a crazy thing happen to me when I purchased the score to Dangerous Beauty from Amazon.com. After waiting patiently for three weeks, the CD finally came in the mail. When I went to open it, there it was infront of me. A 100 free hour CD for AOL. The CD was factory sealed, so how could something like this happen? Perhaps someone was playing a pratical joke from Restless Records. Who knows.

So I ended up sending it back to the company and searched the whole city of Toledo trying to find a real copy of the score. 2 days and 10 stores later, it was in my posession.

If you ask me, all that trouble was well worth it but I'm still angered how a mix up like this could happen.

    NP- Nothing right now
