Yes. It is a really neat score. Similar to Austin Powers, but with a more 60's type feel to it.-Racerprose

The game is supposed to be awesome. Unfortunately, I couldn't deal with it. It uses a crappy engine (Lithtech 2.5) and runs slow, not to mention looks pale in comparison to UT/Q3 engine based games. I'm just a speed freak I guess, otherwise the game is supposed to be great single player. I brought mine back to EB and just got my money back (love their return policy), but what I heard of the score I didn't like.

Hasta,What type of CPU and video card do you have? And how much RAM?
The score works with the game. A decent score for a game (***). I like Austin Powers better. Both scores are more fun.

Athlon 700 / 256 megs of ram and a GeForce... all other games run great, but like Kiss and Blood 2, this game runs like ass, though we should stop this post now as it isn't score related =)

The best games create an immersive world...and the music is one of the critcal factors that make this game so enjoyable...by the way Hasta...sounds like ghosts in the machines...running smooth as glass on an Athalon 500, 32M video card, and 128M ram...and running decently on a machine with a 16M video card. You're missing out on a great game!

You do realize that AP was intented satire on John Barry's BOND scores, Goldsmith's FLINT scores, and Mancini's PINK PANTHER scores, right?
So wouldn't it be safer to say that the NOLF score is more like those - since they were (for the most part) all in the 1960s?
(Why point to the satire score as the influence instead of the originals?!)

Dan,I pointed out the satire because both NOLF and Austin Powers are basically the same. They are both comedies.
And yes, I knew they were satires of Barry's, Goldsmith's, and Mancini's scores. I must say though, I like Clinton's presentation better.

JJH,I like Clinton's because it is more "fun" and because of the satire. I must say, I have never heard Flint. As for the Bond scores, I hardly like any of them. I am much into more of Arnold's representation of the Bond character. And I only heard a bit of Pink Panther.

Just got this disc... Pretty neat music. The only comparisons I'd make to Flint and Powers are that the same instrumentation and 60's flare are present. That's not saying much, as that was the 60's "style." It's decent, but doesn't top the Goldsmith stuff by a long run. Clinton's music comes in by a close second.
