O.K. So I rented the dvd and just pulled the iso score from it. This is a pretty cool score. Talgorn has done some nice work for this movie. Has anyone else seen the movie or heard the score yet? I still haven't even actually sat down and watched the movie yet, but it looked kinda cool from doing the music.

    Hi Sebulba!

Yes, I watched this last weekend. The movie itself was nothing extraordinary; some good animation, some bad. To me, some of the scenes had an 'unfinished' look, maybe since they decided to realease it straight to video they didn't want to put the extra time and money into it. It seemed a bit overlong at 88 minutes. I'm glad I watched it though, it wasn't an awful movie.......

I do remember, however, during several scenes the music score grabbing my attention. I was wondering who did the score until the end. I didn't really like the rock songs that were inserted throughout the movie. (Then again, it wouldn't be "Heavy Metal" without them) But the score was wonderful.

Was it in the same vein as Elmer Bernstein's work for Heavy Metal 1981?

I think it's a stronger score. I like it better. It's bigger and has more orchestral action music.
Now that I have actually finished burning it to cd, it runs 40 min. with 24 tracks.
