I was flipping though the channels and got the last half of the 1971 film "Zeppelin" starring Michael York. It was a decent film, with good editing, FX, and an interesting story (zeppelin sneaks over to england during WW1 in an attmept to steal the Magna Carta (why? who knows).

The score was by Roy Budd. Fairly typical in the approach (lots of snare drums), the main theme seemed nice, at least what I heard in the short end titles. Was there a soundtrack released? I had never heard of the film, so I doubt it.....anyone?

I'm pretty sure it came out on vinyl in some form. In any case, Zeppelin can be found on a CD of Budd scores, coupled with Soldier Blue and Catlow. There are only 3 cues, though... The main theme is terrific.

Actually there are only 2 Zepplin cues on the Soldier Blue CD and one of those is a song, but, the main march is so great! that I bought the thing for that one cue. I believe the cue also shows up on another Budd theme CD whose title escapes me right now.

Rebirth Of The Budd. That was my first exposure to Zeppelin and my jaw dropped, big time...
I've always loved his Wild Geese score and was really excited about Cinephile releasing other Budd scores. Kidnapped is a personal favorite of mine. Not only was Budd a great composer, who seemed to get better with each score he did, but he was also successful at incorporating pop songs into his scores and making them work well together. Not an easy thing to do.
