I am really interested in this score, not to mention the movie. it looks a hella of a lot better then the first.

The music is dark and Burwell-ish. Cool, huh?

Just bought Blair Witch 2 score awhile ago.
So far I am on track 8 and it's been ok. The first have of it is judt more of a percussional score with some themes. It is Burwell-ish but still pretty good. so far I would give it a 7/10

It seems more like sound effects and noise than anything else. It does sound okay to an point, but is kind of tedious. And, it is not until half way through the disc, that anything really musically coherent shows up!

Review is forth coming, but at this rate I give it about 2-3 stars. And that is being optimistic.

I'll give it another few listens, since this is just my first impression of it!

    Regards,
    Sean Robert Abbey

    FYI

There's a suite on this weeks edition of SOUNDTRACK CINEMA in In Streaming Real Audio Stereo @ http://www.film.com/reviews/features/stc/

It gives you a nice flavor of what the score sounds like.

Well, I just listened to the suite on STC (I was shocked to find that my RealPlayer did not skip once, thats a first )

Anyway, the score was not scary at all and sounded a bit werid but good and I can imagine that it works great with the film. I'm still debating if I should buy the CD or wait for Christmas, but eather way its a very interesting score to listen to.

NP: Concerto for Horn- Movt: Aaron Colins (****) <-Horns don't really do it for me, so this rating is like 5 stars, it's great stuff. Good job A-Dawg!
