Will there ever be a Soundtrack release date area. It would be very much appreciated.

I thought the new releases sections handled that? I could be wrong.

Justin, you're correct. Daniel, you can find release dates in the "New Releases" section of the website.Jeron

Well, it does! But not as good as it could!
No offense to PeterK, or anyone who does similar sites. But there isn't one single site, that has an great version of these upcoming soundtrack sections! Meaning, it usually takes going to several to find the info. I especially like listings of where you can find pre-orders as well.

Either way, hopefully someone could be able to do an heavy-duty page with most if not all upcoming titles, pre-orders and whatnot.

No offenses taken here. The MovieMusic "new releases" page simply cannot get any better, because it is already accomplishing the goals set for it: list all movie soundtrack releases distributed through normal distribution channels (in English, "list all soundtracks that can be found just about anywhere"). This does NOT include bootlegs, promos, special import orders, etc. This is not a website for just hard core soundtrack fans, it's a website for everyone. Everyone.
All soundtrack releases are included by the respective CD release date. When the store opens here in a couple of weeks, most soundtracks will be listed four weeks prior to release.
Realistically, it's almost impossible for anyone place to list every CD being released in the future.
That's my reaction. If you have any valid criticisms of the system setup here, please speak. At least you know where this site stands now....

Hey, I can answer that one. It's called money, Tim. And most EVERYONE has it. That's why, in a business, you try to cater to EVERYONE. A soundtrack store ain't no charity- you gotta git profits, the moolah, the green presidents...posted 10-11-2000 09:09 AM PT (US)

I guess there's a more simple, albeit technical, reason:Boots, promos, limited releases and the like don't even have official release dates.
So, how can anyone compile a list of release dates for products that just appear? The usual suspects start selling them when they arrive on the doorstep.
