It was really one of the most exciting moments of mine, as a film music fan.The news of the release and the release of the great Percepto CD with the original soundtrack scores of the Corman classics.
Unfortunatelly we don't have the chance to celebrate such wonderfull releases quite often. In my opinion Ronald Stein's music is a real masterpiece of film music. It reaches the peak where only his music for TERROR and RAIN PEOPLE belongs.
I only hope that Percepto will keep up the good work and release all the film scores from the Corman films.

Mr Greek, you're right, all those Corman/Poe films had brilliant music (though I spotted your deliberate mistake: Percepto coupled Ronald Stein's Premature Burial with his The Haunted Palace. Tomb of Ligeia had music by Kenneth V Jones).

I'm hoping for the day when they put out the granddaddies of the these: Les Baxter's truly amazing Fall Of The House Of Usher and Pit And The Pendulum.

This mistake occured for a simple reason...
I'm eagerly waiting for the release of TOMB OF LIGEIA on CD!I hope there will be the time when we will see all that masterpieces come to disc.It is a prospect that i'm very anxious to see become a reallity.
Especially this FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER score by Les Baxter is my most desirable.
