    Hey all you moviemusic lovers!!!

I'm search for original scores for The Karate Kid and The Karate Kid Part II, plus Goonies.

Does anyone have any info? I was just listening to the soundtracks officially released for both KK movies, and though I love the eighties, I want the scores, too!

    Anybody.....?

    They are both bootlegs.

Anyone know where I can find the 75 min version of King of Kings by Rozsa?

Yeah, they both exist. The Karate Kid was released as a promo along with Conti's score to The Right Stuff. I'm sure KK runs about 30 mins and has perfect sound. Karate Kid II is a bootleg that runs for about 40mins and also has perfect sound.

There are numerous versions of The Goonies doing the rounds but I'm sure that none of them are 100% original score.

    Happy hunting...

There is also a 49 minute version of The Karate Kid.

I recently bumped into a Japanese release of [b]Goonies{/b], which wasn't much cop, kicking off as it did with Cindi Lauper's Goonies R good enough. The horror! Still, if you're interested, it retails at about £20 in London.

You can help to get the Goonies full edition score by reaching some labels, especially Varese Sarabande : http://gooniesnvrsaydie.googlepages.com/letter.html
