I am looking for a song in the movie "Bring it On", can anyone help me out? The song appears somewhere towards the start of the movie. It has the chorus of "There she goes again" but it is NOT the same song as the Sixpence None the Richer version. The song is not on the soundtrack. If you know, either reply here or to email address Somerset538@aol.com. Thanks.

Katie, have you seen So I Married an Axe Murderer? The movie's theme song is "There She Goes" performed by The LA's. I bet that's the version you are looking for!PeterK, sitting in for Dr. Toons

Pete's quite possibly right as the lyric goes 'there she goes, there she goes again', You'll probably find the track on any number of compilations, it's also used in the film Fever Pitch.

I'm sorry, but we don't talk about insipid song score albums from brainless teen cheerleader movies on this message board! We only talk about REAL film scores here...

I LOVED So I Married an Axe Murderer! Especialy Steven Write (A comedian I saw live in Boston a couple years a go. He's VERY funny) as the pilot of a private airplane explaining "I've never flown an airplane in a thunderstorm...or at night" or something along those lines. Anyways, its Steven, so you can imagine how funny it could be if you haven't seen it.

Guys, sorry, but the song I'm looking for is not the one on the "So I Married an Axe Murderer" Soundtrack - nor is it a VERSION of that song. It is a completely different song, just happens to have the same lyrics in the chorus. If anyone else can help me out, thanks

lol. Yes, that Mike Myers movie was the first thing I thought about. Just how many times was "There she goes" used in So I Married An Axe Murderer??

Al,
I believe "There She Goes" was used at least 72 times in So I Married An Axe Murderer, though NASA is still not back with the exact numbers (why NASA got involved is beyond me, so I called Oliver Stone to consult), but it's around that number.
Yet another film starring Mike Myers where everybody else in the film is funnier than his main character (note I mentioned "his main character", as the father is hilarious; "Look at the siize of that boyz heyd!")Shaun

I remember Roger Ebert saying the same thing about the father character, observing that a whole other, more original movie seemed dying to break out. This is a recurring thing with Myers (a more cerebral comedian than he sometimes gets credit for being) -- e.g. Dr. Evil is infinitely funnier and more interesting than Austin Powers; at least Myers seems to be aware of that fact.AXE MURDERER also had a splendid sneering cameo (one of several he phoned in during that post-MIDNIGHT RUN, pre-talk show period) by Charles Grodin. I remember amusing contributions by Alan Arkin as well. I think they both (as well as Steven Wright) appeared unbilled.

Well, first of all (even though I haven't seen the movie, and can't comment on the song) let me do what should have been done with the first reply to Katie's message:Welcome to Moviemusic.com Katie. I hope you enjoy your stay, and learn (and contribute) amazing things.
One of the things you need to know right off is some of us (and I'm not naming names, but I'm one of them
) have wierd, sarcastic senses of humor. Don't let it get to you.So welcome aboard, and I hope you find the information you need.

NP - Legend (by that Goldsmith guy)PS. Greg - I thought the snobs were the ones who won't buy a score unless it's the complete version, and in the correct track order?

Kevin, I guess that leaves both of us out...you appear to have the incomplete version of Legend, and I buy a lot of Varese Sarabande CD's...
Katie, Kevin, is right, we do have to have a different sense of humor to be soundtrack buffs (real soundtracks, not the "Inspired by" st*ff). Anyway, welcome. Maybe we can introduce you to the sheer joy of Jerry Goldsmith, Miklos Rozsa, Bernard Hermann, Eliott Goldenthal, the occasional John Williams, et al.
