Conan: Sword and Sorcery and the Clash Of The Titans reissue should be out in the next few weeks.

Sean, the only Conan discs available from Varese are the Destroyer and Conquerer scores. I'm curious as well as to what this newly mentioned one is.

Following the success of the first Conan movie, Univeral Studios opened up a Conan live-action attraction. Basil wrote a little over 18 minutes of original music for it. It's almost like a symphony...

I'm sure he meant BARBARIAN when he wrote CONQUEROR. To the best of my knowledge, there is no album (or movie) called CONAN THE CONQUEROR.

    NP: THE MUMMY

Marian... are you saying you don't have Conan the Barbarian? Maybe I'm misinterpreting your post, but thats what it seems like..
If you like Basil at all, get this score. It is arguably his best.

NP: A Far Off Place, Horner

Hopefully, however, there will soon be a movie (and Basil Poledouris score) called Conan the King!

Yeah, my bad... I meant "Barbarian" instead of "Conqueror". Call it wishful thinking, if you will.

John, sure I have it! But only the Milan release so far, which is shorter.

Jeron, I was just a bit confused. I'm not familiar with the Conan movies and thought the 2 you mentioned do both exist (although I never heard of more than 2 Conan scores by Poledouris).

    NP: Itaipu (again)

Everyone, I know! I was making an joke!

I did not know about Conan live-action attraction. So, in my mind it could have only been what Varese already had done. Hence my little, I guess subtle would be the word, joke.

Milius and Schwarzenegger seem to be interested in making a third film.
