I should be receiving the Prince of Egypt collectors's edition - the one with the 2 extra score tracks - any day now.

I was thinking of making a CD-r with these 2 tracks plus the score from the original release. I'm still undecided on whether to include the character songs. I might since I like them and some tracks overlap.

Has anyone done this and know the correct sequnece as in the film?

Ideally the sequence of the score cues with the songs at the end but if it doesn't work just the complete sequence.

Gosh, what a long way to ask a simple question...

    NP - Gandhi - Fenton/Shavkar (spelling?)

Well, personally - I couldn't leave the character songs off of the cd, simply because they are so integral to the score and story itself. Here's my sequence... not sure if it's right, though.

    01. Deliver Us (song)
    02. Chariot Race (0:00-3:00)
    03. All I Ever Wanted (song)
    04. The Reprimand
    05. Following Tzipporah
    06. The Burning Bush
    07. Playing with the Big Boys (song)
    08. Cry
    09. Rally
    10. The Plagues (song)
    11. It Is Only Beginning...
    12. Death of the First Born
    13. When You Believe (song)
    14. Red Sea
    15. Chariot Race (3:01-6:27)

Anyone else, feel free to correct my sequencing - I did it in like 2 minutes from what I could remember from the film.

Is the division in Chariot Race clear cut, or do I need to do some editing?

    Thanks, by the way.

While I'm here....I read that there is extra Music from the Lion King on the german release and on the 'Follow your dreams' CD.

I found 'Follow your dreams Vol 2' which has a track called 'Just can't wait to be king'
    Is this a score track?

Is there a 'Follow your dreams Vol 1'?

Does anyone have the german release? Is the extra score any good...i.e. how long etc...

    Thanks a million.

The division is pretty clear cut in the "Chariot Race" track. All you'll need to do is use something like Sound Forge or Cool Edit to split the track, then fade it out and in at the appropriate spots.

Regarding the track on the Follow Your Dreams cd... it's an instrumental version of the song - same exact thing, except no words. Nothing special. The extra score cue on the German release is entitled, "The Hyenas" and is cool, but again - nothing special. I would have liked to seen it on the US Release, but oh well. It's nothing as significant as "The Chariot Race," left off of the commercial Prince of Egypt cd.

Hey what about the Nightmare sequence?

By the way, here's the track order from my own complete POE CDR:

    The Prince of Egypt

    01. Deliver Us (7:15)
    02. Chariot Race (3:02)
    03. The Reprimand (4:06)
    04. Following Tzipporah (1:00)
    05. All I Ever Wanted…(1:54)
    06. Hieroglyphic Nightmare (3:21)
    07. Goodbye Brother (5:33)
    08. The Well (1:43)
    09. Through Heaven’s Eyes (3:42)
    10. Lost Lamb (1:19)
    11. The Burning Bush (7:17)
    12. Line In The Sand (1:28)
    13. It Is Only Beginning… 3:44)
    14. Rally (0:43)
    15. The Plagues (2:41)
    16. Cry (3:50)
    17. The Angel Of Death (0:50)
    18. Death Of The First Born (1:08)
    19. When You Believe (4:59)
    20. Pillar Of Fire (0:28)
    21. Do My Wonders (1:14)
    22. Red Sea (5:13)
    23. Epilogue (3:26)
    Total Time: 69:53

I left off Playing With The Big Boys... never liked that song... but it goes between 11 and 12.

John, are the extra tracks you have broken apart from the various pre-existing ones, or are the unreleased cues... like, "The Well" and "Line in the Sand." Where'd those come from?

More importantly, where did you get the 'Nightmare' music from?

Did you make this CD-r from the DVD?

Okay, the extra cues (like the nightmare) were isolated from the DVD's soundtrack, but not by me. I found them online about a year ago, at somebody's web page, which I don't remember. The well, Pillar of fire, and Do My Wonders have some sound effects, but the rest of them are pretty much clean.
