I was over at the FILMUS-L archives today and a friend of mine posted the sad news. Odd that it was cancelled nearly a week AFTER it should have been released. Anyway.....grab your hankies.Shaun

What I would really love to hear is this score released as heard in the film, though I do love the recorded for the album track Bajo Fuego (sorry if I got that wrong, I don't have the album to hand) with Pat Metheny's superlative guitar playing.NP : MULAN - Marian Sch....errrrr Jerry Goldsmith

Has there been any official confirmation about this, or is this just another rumor that has gotten out of control?I hope it is, since as of now TZ: The Movie is also canceled according to the newest post at Filmus!

Is there a web-archive of Filmus posts? I'm not a subscriber, and I'm interested to see who is making all the fuss. This is bad news.

At Intrada's website it has been listed for a few weeks as "possibly cancelled".But I checked there today to find it listed as"cancelled". As of now on their site the TZ:TM is still slated for a late September release. But who knows, that may change as well. With all of this talk of one or both of the cd's being cancelled or at least postponed for now,i'm still wondering why?I have heard no info as to the reasons for the cancellation so close to the release date.
Anyone heard anything from a reliable source?

Here is what FSM said on their main page!Warners Japan has postponed indefinitely their CD issues of Under Fire and Twilight Zone: The Movie(both Jerry Goldsmith) -- we'll have further info as we can get it from our friends in the Far East.
Hopefully, it won't be much an wait!

Sean Robert AbbeyConsidering how far along these discs were in the distribution chain, I'm sure they're going to be offered again. Shops were already taking preorders on them.

** Marian thinks that Jeron is very clever doing so, but the only reason why he doesn't do the happy dance himself is that he can't dance **
