Just heard 2 brand new cd's.

A score to the Crow comicbook and a soundtrack to Pryde of the X-men cartoon.

The Crow music was decent and reminiscent of the first film. I MAY pick it up for posterity if nothing else.

The Pryde of the X-Men soundtrack was (IMO) pretty awful. Aside from every other track being STAN LEE speak in a grandiose tone that literally echoes, the ACTUAL music is pretty lame. ALMOST remiscent of the Batman Beyond CD.

Am I in the minority here?

Coming from the label that is often mentioned on Howard Stern's radio program, the same label that gave us Sex-O-Rama I and II, Tromeo and Juliet, Psycho Sisters and a whole slew of off beat Christmas albums, we shouldn't expect anything better than the best of the worst. That's what they are going for, and they seem to be filling a gap out there! Oglio Records, btw.

Off-beat Christmas albums? They didn't do the CD with the barking dogs did they?

I don't know why there is novelty in having bad things. I mean, why collect "misprints?" If someone wants to start a collection based upon human error, they might as well gather horribly wrecked automobiles.

I've heard thirty seconds of each track of Pryde, and from what I could gather, NONE of the music was actually from the TV-movie. Don't know where it came from, but it sounded pretty bad (not that the original score was any better, mostly by-the-numbers 70's music).
