The good news is that I start a new job tomorrow making MUCH more than I was making before and in what promises to be a VERY interesting environment (a law firm).

In the meantime, I shall continue to write and edit Cause & Effect and will hopefully keep the reshoots to a minimum.

I shall, as always, keep you informed.

    HUGS to all!!!!

    Joe

Law firms aren't ALL that interesting, Joe. After midnight they become downright boring.

But anyway, yesterday Screen Archives was very friendly to me (lightened up the late hours at my desk):

    Spartacus (3CD complete)--North
    Rich Man Poor Man--North
    Rainmaker--North
    Young Lions/This Earth Is Mine--Friedhofer
    Where's Jack/Kidnapped--E. Bernstein/R. Budd
    London Sessions, Vols. 2, 3--Delerue
    Viva Zapata/Children's Hour--North
    The Cardinal--Moross

A good haul (expensive, too), but a couple of items were disappointingly forgettable. THE CARDINAL, for instance, is dull and weightless. The Delerue, while good, is almost too syrupy at points. Even WHERE'S JACK seems too fluffy. But the albums by North, well, those are fantastic. He's a an up-and-coming composer favorite.

NP: This Earth Is Mine (Friedhofer)

P.S. Joe--What kind of legal (or paralegal) work will you be doing?

Thanks to our board's spiderman and Kilar expert Timmer, I now have:

    • Pan Tadeusz (Wojciech Kilar)
    • Wojciech Kilar: Concert Works (Exodus and others)
    • The Lion in Winter (John Barry)

THANKS! And I'm happy to tell the rest of you that he did NOT put a spider in the package.

    NP: Pan Tadeusz - Wonderful
