Hey guys,I need to know exactly who is going. If we are planning to get together as a group, those plans need to be solidified and someone needs to keep everyone in the "know" as to what's going on.
Please respond if you are planning on going. I've got something I'm trying to put together myself (not a meeting, something else... a surprise).
Post here. ASAP.

http://www.hollywoodbowl.orghas ticket info also. I am buying a $3 seat, on the word of my brother who saw Williams last year in those seats. said it was terrific sound. I'd invite anyone else here to go for those seats, especially if you're on a budget.

Hey folks, as a part of a new experience me, I'm going to California for the first time ever three days for the concert. It's going to be a Film Music pilgrimage, I'll be going to Intrada to see what it's actually like in the store and shop a bit.I also plan to meet up with Sebulba at the concert- as soon as I inform him- which will also be my first Film Music concert EVER. I love this music so much and it's the first time I'll have heard it live. Isn't that sad? Actually it's a happy thing that it will soon change.

I'm going, but on the 19th. I work to late in the evening to go on Fridays. Plus, the 19th is my wife's birthday, so it'll be a nice birthday gift. Anyone else going on the 19th?

So, Chris and Widescreen, were you two planning on telling any of us that u were going??? =P Chris, of all people, you should know I'd love to meet YOU!
How long will you guys be in town?......because here's the deal. Joe is having some kind of get together at his place in San Diego on Sunday night. Everyone is supposed to be there. That means y'all, as well. I'm trying to put together some MM.com t-shirts, so I need to know everyone who plans on being in attendance.
And hey, Widescreen! I hope you know that Intrada moved! They are now located in Oakland, which is approximately 6 hours and 45 minutes away from Los Angeles... are you sure you're going?
Lemme know about all this...

Hey!We (Lovely Laura and myself) will be at the concert for both nights, as will Brad; Brad and Joe will be there for the Saturday concert, as well. LOTS of folks to meet & greet! Cool!

Laura, Brad and I will be meeting folks at the Hollywood Bowl around 4pm on Friday. Reason is twofold: 1) Ensure parking; and 2) Lots to do/eat within walking distance. It just seems like the best time and place to set up a rendezvous. We will be there Saturday (with Joe) starting around 3pm. I am thinking of making a big sign with MM.com on it to help folks find us (or you can look for Tall Guy, Bad Hand....
).I am still leaning on Shaun to attend (maybe with Pretty Prentiss?); and The Estimable Rocco is now a definite maybe, too!
This is going to be SO cool. Looking forward to meeting you, Widescreen.....and everyone else, of course. Well, maybe not Jeron.....
KIDDING!
Love you, man.I found out the strange joy of the phrase "Meeting my Friends" in Detroit. This looks to be an even larger gathering.
Outside of being tremendously exciting (get ready for big hugs from me, people!), this helps to underline for me how blessed my life truly has been....
I love you guys.

Ummm......The above-mentioned meeting times & places are NOT writ in stone (outside of the cool BBQ at Joe's place Sunday, for those that can attend). Any special needs in this area should be mentioned now so that we can try to tailor this to accomodate everyone.
Also, I would LIKE to try for a post-concert meeting (maybe dinner?), if possible, for one or both nights. It would be most bitchin' to chatter excitedly with folks after the music has ended & compare notes....
Let's start getting this all figured out, huh?

Jeron,Yep, knew about Intrada. Dedicating that to a special day all to itself, if possible. If not, well...another time maybe.
The most important thing is that concert for me- on Saturday.
I will leave Cali on Sunday night, so I might not be able to see you guys at Joe's. But, here's a thought you might want to pitch to Peter K. T-Shirts- how to get a bunch made for all the members? If nothing else, I can make mine from the logo jpg and the drawing programs. Print it out on iron-on transfer paper and then get a nice sweatshirt or something. (Then again, T-shirt would be better, given it never gets that cold in Dallas.)

As usual, I'm too poor to fly all the way out there (heck, I was too poor to see Goldsmith in Detroit, and that's just a 2-hour drive) so I won't be attending. However, my friend Ed and his sister will be going as usual. They never miss it. And I guess they got great seats this year.

Mr. H, you should be just fine in that neighborhood. Although I've never stayed there myself, so who the hell knows. For all I know, you'll get slaughtered first moment off the plane. But I lived there for two and a half years, and I can tell you that paranoia about Los Angeles is much worse than Los Angeles itself. Same as New York (where I grew up -- perhaps I just have a built-in immunity. I'm going to live in Miami shortly. Next, no doubt, someplace quiet like Beirut.)
