Is it the guy composer who scored Eastwood's Absolute Power and his other recent films? (Can't remember the guy's name.) Or is it someone else?NP: Mission: Impossible rejected - "Fight On the Bullet Train" ****/*****

Lennie Niehaus, perhaps?have n oidea, didn't see it on the trailer...but then, I was just amazed that this film was even made so I wasn't paying attention to the credits.

Dantoris,i'm beginning to think you are obsessed with Silvestri's Mission:Impossible.Everytime you post a message you apparently have it playing. Are you not getting a little tired of hearing it?I guess not because you continue to play it so often.Ok,there I answered my own question.Anyway,Lennie Niehaus is scoring the film.He is Eastwood's regular composer of choice.I think Niehaus has composed the music for all of the films directed by Clint Eastwood since 1985's Pale Rider. Also I believe that 1984's Tightrope was the first film starring Clint Eastwood that Niehaus scored.
I'm not quite sure what to expect from Niehaus for this type of film.It could go either way.I guess we will have to wait and see.

Matthew - Yes, I am obsessed with Silvestri's Mission: Impossible. I've played it about ten times today. I don't know what it is about that music that I'm just addicted to. I think it's some of his best action music, especially the final track, "Fight On the Bullet Train." It's simply pure adrenaline.Lennie Neihaus - That's who was thining of. I didn't know he had scored so many Eastwood films. I thought Absolute Power and True Crime (haven't seen it yet, though) were the only one he had scored. I agree there's no telling what to expect from Neihaus in this film, but I'm certainly looking forward to seeing it.
NP: nothing (*gasp* Where's my M:I rejected. Never mind! Don't have time! Gotta get some dinner so I can sit down and recorded AMC's showing of The Thing in less than hour!)

Lennie Niehaus is, indeed, scoring SPACE COWBOYS -- at least, that's his name on the poster.
