Part of being a community is sticking together. It's about having strength in numbers, its about mutual survival and the sharing of thoughts. In being part of the larger whole, it's usually not well looked on when someone takes advantage of the rest. A wolf in the fold, as it were. Yet, such people do creep in to every society, social circle and club.
I suppose it's part of human life to have to wade through the BS other people shovel at you. This is me doing my part.

I was given clearance by the admins here to make a very exacting, damning report about one such reoccuring character in our community. His name is Jeff Johns. He's known to take people's money without sending anything in return. In the old west, they were known as Road Agents and if thats the case, call me Allan Pinkerton.

I got swindled by this man late in 2006. The amount wasn't much in the long run - $75. But that $75 from me could be $20 from you and $50 from the next guy and a $100 from last month from another sucker who had good faith in his fellow man. He has a habit of this, which Thor informed me of. He's a repeat offender, a constant predator on the greater communal whole.

I attempted to contact him, which was repeatedly met with "Its in the mail" and likewise. He eventually stopped responding altogether - be it on AOL Instant Messenger or otherwise. He basically tipped his hat, and said thanks and walked off with my money.

Well, not this guy - and not this time.

I luckily saved this email from Paypal. I cut out part of the information for my own safety. While this simply says that I sent him payment, I assure you that my ire and willingness to see this as far as it can go should prove to you that I did not receive what I asked for.

Considering his rather seedy reputation, I've taken it into my own hands to shove my perverbial foot up his perverbial ass. How you may ask? This is the internet and "the buyer beware". Well, enough is enough and I'm tired of this guy walking over the rest of us.

I took it upon myself to contact Greenspan Artist Management that Mr Johns was misrepresenting Marco Beltrami; as not only does Johns run a Beltrami fansite, but also knowingly sells score bootlegs. (The last I heard from GAM was they're "looking into it", who knows if anything will come of that)

I am hoping that FSM has more people on here that were ripped off by this joker. And if there isn't, I want you to find someone who has been ripped off by him and demand his money back. How to do that if he doesn't reply?

I was given special permission to post this, given the lengths of the offenses this guy has commited against so many people. The information is public knowledge (it's posted on his website), thus breaking no privacy law or constituting any unfair snooping. Here it is, clear as day - if he did you wrong, I'm giving you the means to hang him (metaphorically speaking).

Its a shame that we have these people in our midst, but they are here and I'm tired of seeing people ripped off, myself included obviously. I hope this information is not abused - but *used* by the right people for the right reasons. He needs to be called out on his lies, his stealing and if this is what it takes to flush him out, let it be done.

Evil does not go away if you "out" it. But I will agree, it's good to warn about it here and there.... but let's not pretend this proverbial kicking in the ass will solve anything.

Elsewhile, please don't read this as a suggestion of support or that I condone the behavior of the accused. It is not and I do not.

As you can read on here, yes my past was a bit disappointment. But I thought I have showed myself thru the years and got it right.

yes I dealt with this guy. yes he contacted me said he never got them. yes, I resent them out (was sent back to me for some reason). Now, did he contact me again. No or if he did like he says he did, I never got the messages.

Now I'm not getting into a big debate over this here. I have contacted him personally after looking forever for his e-mail. So please leave this post at that.
