I'm dying to own this score. (Well, not really, but you know what I mean!) The 2 minute score track on the song compilation is killer, and gives you a hint of what's to come . . . provided it does come eventually.

I was gonna say something, but I have to go scrape off some wallpaper or something. Get some sandpaper and stuff. Nails.[This message has been edited by mlw (edited 10 July 2000).]

Justin - Have you heard Rabin's score for the Seagal film The Glimmer Man? No CD exists, but it's a really cool score. Not as guitar heavy as ConAir or 60 Seconds, but still pretty good. There was supposed to be a CD release when the movie came out, a score/song compilation, but Varese cancelled it at the last minute.I'd suggest you check the movie out to give it a listen. The opening titles has a very cool tribal-like sound to it.
(Movie's not bad, either, one of Seagal's better films. And Keenan Ivory Wayans is excellant!)
NP: Ranson - "The Quarry" (Too early for a rating. I think I may be actually playing Patriot Games--no, maybe Titanic--no, maybe Clear and Present Danger--no . . . Okay, this is getting tiring!)

Man I know exactly whatcha mean Dantoris. I own the DVD and love the music. His style was different but not too different. Yeah I agree with you completely. I am looking forward to hearing his work in Remember The Titans, Whispers, Texas Rangers. Should be some good stuff.

Justin - Glad you're aware of it. Writing about it in my earlier post I ended up watching my DVD of it again this evening, and I want the score even more with each consecutive viewing of the film. I love that driving string ensemble as Seagal is lead away from his house by the pseudo-I.A. officers, and again as everyone is arriving at the hotel for the big showdown.NP: Sounds Exciting - "Tombstone: Finishing It" *****/*****

Hahahaha, I also popped in the DVD after reading your post. The guy has some talent and if there was anyway of getting that score it would be great! Perhaps they will release a Glimmer Man Special Edition with an Isolated Score track, eh? Ah well, here's hoping.
