Well, for the past three weeks, I have been entering these contests through the Website of the Beach I go to every year. There were several trips to be given away and I didn't win a damn one of them. I DID win an all day fishing excursion for two. Two bits of irony in this; One is that LONELY GUY doesn't have some beautiful girlfriend to take with him on this excursion.
The INTERESTING irony is that I won the fishing excursion contest and it was sponsored by HOOPER REALTY! Now, can anyone figure out the irony of that! A hint; it almost makes me nervous about getting on the boat!

Well..."Irony" is actually when something has a 180-degree meaning as the implied thing....what you're dealing with are "Bummers" and "Coincidences"....but I feel for you anyway. Could have been worse--could have been "Brody Fishing Boats"....

    Spot-on Lancelot!!
Thought it was kind of creepy.
As you said, it could be worse! The name of the boat could've been the ANDREA GAIL!!!!!
It is named, however, the Vonda Kay!

.....It is a great movie and all but they were fishermen....and you winning a fishing trip....it sounds like a disaster waiting to happen....maybe Horner will do a score for you

Check out: www.prisonbabes.com for a possible hook-up! There are some very pretty ladies there with release dates in under a year!

    Hey Chris!
You want to see me bound and gagged with the living S*H*I*T kicked out of me and my life savings gone?!!!
I actually just checked out that website right before I saw that you had posted here.
True; there are some very attractive women there but I'm not THAT desperate!
    Thanks anyway, dude!

Christopher, does Bonita know you're going to these places?

I'm embarrassed to admit that I can identify at least two of them. And ONE of them pulled that CRYING GAME trick on me!!!!

MAN is that funny. I had to go the website...you know...out of curiosity's sake. The sad thing is, I spent more than 30 seconds there. Hey, there was a kind of cute babe in California. She didn't post her release date though. And I wish they'd post their penal code violations. THAT could be scary.

Lonely Guy - I wish I could help, but I'm in the same boat. No pun intended. Just make sure you wear a life vest, and we'll keep an eye on the weather for you.

To what were you referring about no pun being intended; The boat reference or the PENAL code!

    Hey LonelyGuy!
Watch a couple episodes of Daria...that'l chear you up! Its on every Wed night on MTV @ 10:00...with encore presentations of previous episodes @ 9:30. I highly recomend it to anybody in the mood for some funny animation. Plus Daria is just so cool. New episodes air all month Please watch it before MTV decides to cancle it due to a lack of viewers....its running on its 4th or 5th season and a show usualy fissles out by then. It's one of my favorites!!
Official and very cool website @ http://www.mtv.com/sendme.tin?page=/mtv/tubescan/animation/daria/

OK, OK! Mom, and brother H, here's my story (and I'm sticking to it!):
I was driving to Selinsgrove last Friday (one hour/one way), with my radio on "The Mike Gallagher Show" (a talk-radio boob), and he was taking calls from single guys and matching them up with their choice of women from www.prisonbabes.com (OOH! There's that URL again!).

Sorry. I couldn't help myself. I thought about Lonely Guy, who is (forgive me, Jim) CONSTANTLY WHINING AND MOANING ABOUT NOT HAVING A WOMAN IN HIS LIFE, and here's a possible avenue...I mean LET'S FACE IT! He's DESPERATE enough to go to internet "Personals" sites...but he says he's NOT DESPERATE ENOUGH to go to www.prisonbabes.com (oops!)???

    EXSQUEEEEZE ME!

Somebody's gonna have to explain to me and my thick skull exactly WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE???

Oh! And by the way, Mom...it's

Well originally, I meant the "pun" part to refer to the boat, but I can see how it works both ways. Hee hee.
