After seeing the thread about AMAZING STORIES, I got to thinking about the revival of THE TWILIGHT ZONE which ran on CBS about the same time. That show had some great episodes which featured some terrific music. Silva Screen released the first cd of the revival's music some months ago, featuring some of the work by The Grateful Dead and I hope that they continue the releases, because among the episode composers was Basil Poledouris, who did some beautiful work.

I BRIEFLY listened to this cd in the store and decided not to buy it. I think I really only liked the opening. Maybe I should listen again?

Christopher Young worked on a segment or two as well, but I think the bulk of the work was done by someone named Merl Saunders. I read an interview with him in the old Cinemascore magazine (since fused with Soundtrack!), but can't really remember anything about it.
