I never really could apreciate Zimmerīs music very much, but one that I do find very good is...hmmm...I canīt remember. Itīs that one, where Michael Keaton plays a total psycho who tries to ruin this young couples life, by taking over their new hous. Can anyone tell me the name of that one?

SFT,the film was "Pacific Heights". My favourite is "The Peacemaker" but I'm starting to get into "The Thin Red Line" and "Crimson Tide". Gae NP "The House of Frankenstein"(Hans Salter). P.S. If any of you like old Horror film music buy this...it's really atmospheric!

Gae, you're actutally listening to good old Hans Salter? That's great! In my hands I hold the Marco Polo CD "The Wolf Man etc." - I'll listen to it laster that night...

Regarding Hans Zimmer: "Beyond Rangoon" is a great meditative score, "K2" and "Broken Arrow" is a fun action scores, and I like the animation stuff ("Lion King", "Prince of Egypt") too.

My favorites are THE ROCK and BROKEN ARROW, but I think that a great score that not that many people talk about is THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD. It was composed by Zimmer and Harry Gregson-Williams. It is a fantastic romantic score, I just wished I could find the movie at my local video store.

    Um,

Hans did not write any of WWW, only HGW.
It is a great score indeed.
Make sure you have the full version, and not the demo misprint.

Fave - Power Of One, out of the 50 or so.

The score that I adore most from Zimmer is definitely Days of Thunder but sad to say that it is not released... Those released that I like are The Lion King, Drop Zone, and The Rock. I am planning to get the other Zimmer scores such as Crimson Tide, The Peacemaker and The Thin Red Line.

For me I think that this is

    1. Beyond Rangoon
    2. The Rock
    3. Crimson Tide
    4. Prince of Egypt
    5. Drop Zone
    6. Rain Man
    7. Nine Months

I never buy Thin Red Line .... Many people said me that it have no main theme ....

I'm not much of a fan in of his action scores, but I love both The Lion King and Prince of Egypt. There are parts of Crimson Tide I like a lot, too.

Although I've heard precious little of it, I may get Beyond Rangoon soon, I've liked what I've heard so far.

I'm not a huge fan of Zimmer myself, but I must say that I do really like The Thin Red Line. Wonderful stuff, & thankfully not too heavy on the synths.

My all-time favorite of Hans Zimmer motions picture score is Millennium.

I discovered Hans Zimmer excellent music with this album. It is for me one of the
best album of this composer and also an excellent buy.
