I really hate to go off topic on a post like this, but this is somewhat related.

I don't have the Rocketeer. I was thinking of buying it because I saw it got a 5 out of 5, but what do you guys think...?

I would have to say my all time favorite Horner score would be the 2cd release of Krull. It is one of those rare scores where I absolutely love every single second of music!!!!!!!

Thank you Peter for moving this post (and the other ones) where they ABVIOUSLY belong.

GLORY! How could I have missed Glory? Yes, Glory defentely goes in my top ten. Need to find a spot for it, probably a tie...

Get the Rocketeer. You won't regret it. If you do, I'll pay for it.

In my opinion, the best Horner score is ALIENS. He really did a wonderfull job with that one.

Krull, Willow & Star Trek 2. Aliens has it's moments too.
Of course, these are all from the eighties, when Horner was vaguely interesting.

    hi everyone!

what I am going to say will neitehr be original nor new, but this was a question I could so easily answer (which surprised me):

as almost equals I adore the following

KRULL, ALIENS, BRAVEHEART, GORKI PARK and GLORY
(all quite different in style, aren't they?)

but horner has written also excellent scores to children's movies like The Land Before Time, Balto, or The Pagemaster...

    cheers!

Actually, the 4 are the ONLY Horner scores I have! Might get Glory, that is IF I can find it and perhaps I will have to watch it first.
