Okay...Let me tell you why I love this score so much:
It is simply one of the most beautyfully created scores ever! And I really mean that. You canīt call it a horrorscore: There is an adventures and magical side to it that makes it very different from any other score to a horrormovie. I canīt relly discreib it. It is a score wich has the abilitie to transport you, through your mind, and far away from the real world. I forget everything around me when I am listening to it.
Some people may say that itīs just a typical Elfman score. But I think it is very unlike anything Elfman has done before; there is something about it that seperates it from every other thing, even Darkman ect. Just listen to the "Main Titles" and youīll se what I mean. Every single cue is wonderfull. From the pulspounding "Meat For The Beast" to the magical "The Initiation". Elfman also manages some quite creepy moments like "Uh-Oh...Decker!".
Another great thing is how Elfman combines the choir with a sort of "tribal" sound: A lot of drumbs and flutes, best shown in "Carnival Underground" and "Boone Transforms".
Is there anyone else who has an opinion about this score?
Perhaps even some who loves it as much as I do?

    SFT,

I saw this score about a week ago and didn't buy it because I never could find a good review of it. If you would have posted this topic last week I would have bought it. It sounds like a good score, and even though you are biased when it comes to Elfman I think I will pick this score up next time I go to that store.

    Thanks,
    Audacity
