The more I listen to this score, the higher it climbs on my list of all time favorites. Seriously, this score has everything!A bold, grand and sweeping main theme, a moving love theme, suspenseful and intruguing music and some of the best and most well orchestrated action music this side of CutThroat Island!
Add a majestic performance by the London Symphony Orchestra and a 70+ minute CD release and you have one of the best overall scores of the decade! And for a TV movie at that!

Anyone else agree?

I'm listening to it right now. I just bought it today! I couldn't remember much from when I watched it, but I remembered liking it, so I took the chance and it is truly amazing. It's my favorite medieval/fantasy score, and one of my all-time favorites. I definitely agree.NP - Merlin

I agree it's very good. When I watched the show I made note of the melodies and such, and took a look around to see if it was available.I've noticed that a lot of television "events" like this are getting soundtracks put out. Some I agree with, and others......?

This score is awesome!! I understand what you mean Howdy, this score has climbed all the way up to being my second favorite score of all time. And definitely me favorite medieval/fantasy score. It may be just a score for a television Mini-series, but on the other hand it is by the great Trevor Jones. If you guys love this score a lot then you need to check out Gulliver's Travels if you haven't already. Another great fantasy score by Mr. Jones. The same people who did MERLIN and GULLIVER'S TRAVELS just did another made for TV movie called NOAH'S ARK. Anyone know who did the score to it? That would be awesome if Trevor scored this movie also.

I agree, this score is great! The more you listen to it,the better it gets.
Yes ,do get Gulliver as soon as possible
LOads of them Landmark television thingys seem to have big orchestral scores, like Merlin and Moby Dick
Has anyone heard the score to Alice in Wonderland, just released as another 70 minute cd from Varese?
Noah`s Ark was by Paul something, but sadly not TRevor.
But if the previous ones are anything to go by, this should be good.REmember no one had heard of Chris Gordon before Moby Dick and now I can`t wait for his next score.

pietari,Your right, I just read today that Noah's Ark was done by Paul Grabowsky, it still might be pretty good though. I haven't bought the CD yet, but the music in Alice in Wonderland sounded great while watching the movie. I also love the score to Moby Dick.
