So I was thinking, how will this be done? Musically, I mean? Will it be silent?
Will it feature Duel of the Fates? The Imperial March? The Force theme?
Will it feature instruments or chorus? The fact remains, the Force theme has not been done by a chorus, and just thinking about it being done gives me chills.
Thoughts? Comments?posted 06-22-2000 12:32 AM PT (US)

You know what would be great? How about all three of those themes combined, with The Force theme performed on instruments AND by a choir. Now that would give me some chills.

George Lucas has been quoted as saying that DoTF was EXACTLY what he needed for EpIII.So it'll be interesting in another 5 years, what he does with that work, if anything.
How many people are gonna hate the EpIII score because Williams rips himself off?

Does anyone else think it would be cool if Obi-Wan disabled Anakin's lightsaber using the Force during the duel?

First off, JJH - Why must we continue to use the term "rip off?" John Williams would *not* be ripping himself off if he used the DoTF theme. The theme is just as important as the characters, and I think Lucas and Williams would both agree that those things are critical constants in the telling of this story.Besides... I don't think it's fair to say Williams is ripping himself off. Neither would it be fair to say that Goldsmith rips himself off with Star Trek... or Williams again with Indiana Jones. This is a series, and music in a series is something that needs to remain similar (thematically) throughout. And hey, that's not to say new themes can't be established.
SECONDLY - Scott, are you sure you aren't on any hallucinogens?
Anyway... those are my thoughts.
