An interesting obituary in today's LA TIMES about Aida Mulieri-Dagort. She played her harp for many classics, from Bambi to The Maltese Falcon and The Ten Commandments. Talks about her moving in on Max Steiner when she heard he was divorcing his harp-playing wife! Not to marry the composer, but more to get a job in the industry. Hot tamales!Read more:

Personally, I was most impressed with Stan Laurel tickling those bedsprings in The Flying Deuces.

Funny you should say that. While preparing for the Detroit thing I had visions of all these 'boarders from around the country getting ready for a "Sons of the Desert" convention.
