Ya'll have to pick up ARABIAN NIGHTS!!!!The score to the ABC mini-series by a man named Richard Harvey, starring Jason Scott Lee amongst others.
The 4 hour movie was actually pretty good. The mini-series as of late has been pretty overdone and oversimplified. This one wasn't as sophomoric, juvenile or patronizing as the bile that NBC has been producing like The Odyssey, Jason and the Argonauts, Merlin, Alice in Wonderland, Gulliver's Travels OR the GOD-AWWWWWWFUL the60's and the even worse the70's..........YUCK!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, if and when ARABIAN NIGHTS comes out on DVD or VHS check it out, it's not bad; and the score is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting sidenote:
Apparently JVC sneezed when recording it for VareseSarabande. In one track only there is an audible "screech". I emailed Varese and 2 days later they had a re-mixed one in my mail!!!!![This message has been edited by meegle (edited 13 June 2000).]

Yeah I posted the info on Arabian Nights a long while ago. They were nice to replace the defective disc.
I'm thinking about writting to Virgin Records and complain about the pop in track 3 of Best Laid Plans!

I received my replacement disc a few days after notifying them...and yes, the score is VERY impressive!!SP - Mask of Zorro (Horner)
