Seems like Trevor Rabin is Jerry Bruckheimer's new favorite composer (maybe after Hans Zimmer). Following the success of "Gone In 60 Seconds" Rabin will now score "Coyote Ugly" for producer Bruckheimer. This is a totally different movie, but it will still be interesting to see how Rabin will approach it musically. Also, Media Ventures-member John Powell will score the movies "Outpost" and "Le Visitor".

The trailer for this film ran before Gone In 60 Seconds yesterday. It looks like an exact carbon copy of Cocktail, only with a female cast. And it looks really bad, too. The only reason I would be tempted to watch it (once it was out on video), would be because the yummy Maria Bello is in it. WOWZERS!!

COYOTE UGLY will be scored by Trevor HORN not Trevor Rabin.
But Trevor RABIN will score Remember the Titans.

Well, it said "Music by TREVOR RABIN" in the credits at the end of the trailer.

Rabin is also scoring Bruckheimer's football movie starring Denzel Washington called "Remember The Titans." ooooopppp I didn't the Titans post above, oh well, and yeah the "Coyote Ugly" poster does say Trevor Rabin not Horn (...isn't he a producer, music-wise).NP: East-West (Patrick Doyle) ****/*****

By the way, Rabin is probably more readily available than Hans Zimmer is for scoring assignments (Zimmer seems to score hella more pictures than Rabin). And if you didn't know, Hans Zimmer is doing the music for Pearl Harbor (...which is a Bruckheimer film).NP: East-West (Patrick Doyle) ****/*****
