I just got off the phone with my best friend a minute ago. He was talking about getting the Supergirl reissue. He said it had more music on it than the other Siva reissue. I told him not to buy it because it was the same as the original Silva reissue. Did I tell him correctly?

...let's all remember this little incident the next time we ask Lonely Guy for advice!

You're confusing me. I happen to have the Varese SUPERGIRL, which is WAY shorter than the Silva SUPERGIRL that I also bought when it came out (92 or 93, forget which) ... there isn't ANOTHER Silva issue is there???

(There can't be!) (Or so I'm guessing.)

(The Varese SUPERGIRL has a whisper of an alternate moment or two, but isn't worth having over the Silva release unless you REALLY want to pick nits.)

My vote is, don't buy another Silva disc if you've already got one. (And if you DON'T have the Silva disc, go ahead and grab it! It's a wonderful score! But I always say that where Jerry's concerned, don't I ...)

Lonely Guy...you gave a friend some advice...
AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IF IT WAS RIGHT OR WRONG!!!!!!

What else is there to say, except that your advice has even messed with H Rocco's mind!

As far as I know, the Silva Supergirl went OOP a couple of years ago, so now they are making a new re-pressing of it. I'm pretty sure it's the same.

    Hey,

the first Silva issue is quite lengthy, like around 77 minutes or so.

There ain't much that could be added.

Hey JJH, The CD-R you sent me and this new version have the exact same content. Even the liner booklet has the same info.

Since the FSM ad in the back list an address they no longer are at. So I assume they, just repressed it without updating the info.

Either way, I am glad to have the CD. The CD-R was great, but this is so much better.

    Regards,
    Sean Robert Abbey

Anchor Bay will be releasing a 2 disc set on DVD very soon!!! Extra scenes and lots of other stuff. Not sure if they'll do an isolated score track though.

I'm with sabbey. I need the original to feel sated with my CD.

I view CDRs as little pit stops on the road to acquiring the real CD.
