PeterK - Any idea when our collection lists will be added to our profiles, like they were on Jeron's profile site? I thought this feature would be included with our profiles.

And when will be able to edit our thread titles? I can't believe I put "are" instead of "our."

This will happen when it happens. There are other things (like the store) that have a little more priority right now. I can't keep running this site and incurring expenses without someday generating some kind of revenues to pay for them.

Like I said, it will happen. When it does, you will know, because I will post a message asking everyone for their lists.

    Thanks for your support!

I think we all realised you're obsessed with Sleepy Hollow. I don't entirely blame you, though.

    Great idea about the lists.

    Hello gentleman!

    Perhaps I'm a moron but...
    What is the collection list?.
Is it the list of Cd's on each
    member collection?

That's exactly what it is. Every single soundtrack each member owns, either CD or CDR.

I've already cataloged my soundtrack collection with rating, ranking, composer, and genre.

Will be adding more soundtracks into it as more and more new soundtracks keep popping up now and then.

Should we send the list to Peter K?

    Marcelo,

For right now just hold onto it. As Peter indicated above, he'll let us all know when he will be tackling that part of the site.

Personally, I'm waiting for the store more than to see who's got what.

Why not just put a link in your profile to your collection list? Of course that means you would need a web page. But that shouldn't be too hard, with all those free web page sites out there.

Damn, I should've started to make a list 10 years ago when I started collecting. I have over 1200 scores. That will take some time to type it in .

    Kris,

start now, or hopelessly fall behind.

I started my list about 8 months ago and it took me a week to do just 400 scores (well, "only" 400 when compared to your 1200!).

BTW -- if anyone wants to see my current file, here is a direct link to it:
    http://www.geocities.com/crusader_79405/JJScoreCDs.xls

    It is an Excel97 file...

Not that anyone is really interested, but here's mine.

However, just to let you know. Since I have yet to update the site since last summer, a lot of the info is way out of date. Though feel free to check it out.

Either way, I plan on updating the entire site during summer vacation.

I just saw your list. One remark, TSUNAMI is an official label. It's German I believe.

Kris: Thanks for the info. From what I've read, they're a German label who, by some weird part of copyright I think, did produce "legal" bootlegs for some time.

pietari: Basically, you write a html file locally and then upload it using an FTP client. Depends on your webspace provider though; there are also HTML Editor applications which are able to upload your files.

Well my Netscape browser has uploading capability. Unfortunately AFAIK, you can't do
anything else with it, except uploading.

So I installed some FTP software. It is called, WS_FTP95. It pretty much allows you to upload, download, edit, delete, rename and much more of the files on the server your web
    page is located.

I'd suggest going to download.com, and search there. You should be able to get it at no cost, and is a pretty small file.

I also use WS_FTP. It hasn't got a great look, but it does anything you'll need to up- and download files via FTP.

This feature would be a good thing. How many CDs does Marian have to buy to make it feasible?

Well, here's my S.T. collection website. I have them listed from A to Z. A page for each letter of the alphabet. Juat click on each letter at the top of each page.

I've lost count of how many S.T.'s I have. I'll have to add them up again sometime.
