I can't believe it myself, but this is my 1000th post here at MovieMusic, and to celebrate it, I'd like to propose a toast to all my friends here. Thank you all so much for enrichening my life by allowing me to talk about a great hobby and pleasure of mine, which hardly anybody else cares for. And thanks, PeterK, for building this great place!

    Looking forward to #2000.

Sorry I had to run from the party so quickly, guys and gals, but inspiration hit and, if you check the latest installment on CAUSE & EFFECT in the JUST MOVIES folder, you'll see why!!! But, I am back fro a quick nibble on some of those fabulous ordeurves and some of Marian's champagne! YUM!!!!

Oh so THAT's what that was about. Hell, I'm closing in on 2000 -- in fact, once I hit 1999, that will actually be my 2000th post, since I did that combo-post with Mark Hatfield and Howard L. from Detroit. Must keep track of that ...

Consider the champagne cracked, Mr. Schedenig, although I can hardly afford it and in fact don't have any in the house. Hey, it's a virtual medium anyways, right? Omedeto gozaimasu, as they say in Japan.

Timmer, since your head is spinning, you probably didn't recognize that right now we're listening to The Boys From Brazil.
Rocco...I know a couple of people who owe you a few bucks. If you want, I'll put a little squeeze on 'em, and you'll have way more than enough for champagne!

    Crab stuffed mushrooms anyone?

Boys From Brazil you say? I certainly hope, Chris, that with all these rabid collectors, you're not listening to the fuddy-duddy LP-version reissue! Only the complete film version will do for THIS occasion! Allow me ...

Alright. Now that THAT'S over with ... I don't see any cocktail sauce!

Howard brought the cocktail sauce...OR AREN'T YOU READING THIS THREAD, WEDGE???

It's right over there by the Bongo Dip.

...and I never knew that there was anything other than the old Varese version of The Boys From Brazil, so I am naturally feeling intensly covetous at this moment, Mr. Wedge Man.

See what you've DONE to me?

    I hardly know myself!

You mean that gelatinous puddle is coctail sauce?!? Yeeeeee ... Guess that's what I get for showing up two days late!

Yeah, there's a BFB boot. Unfortunately, my version has the ends of every track sliced off. I'm working on getting a replacement. Oh ... and no track lists. Here, lemme pop it in again. Yep. Terrible. Just terrible. Absolutely worthless. I oughta just snap the disc in half and toss it out the nearest window. Yup.

    WAIT!
    I'll take that half!

Someone really should speak to Howard about his lame cocktail sauce. It tastes like a mixture of V-8 juice and Kool-Aid.
It's so bad you can't even get the shrimp to dip! Look! Just point a shrimp toward that sauce, and watch it do a U-Turn right in your hand!

Knew I should have gone for the Sau-Sea instead of Publix's own.
