A little while ago, somebody asked somebody else how to italicize and embolden our words. I tried, and it didn't work. I've looked all over the site for official instructions how to do this, but found nothing.

Could somebody PLEASE tell me how to do this, or at least point me in the right direction...?

We're a film music messageboard, Mr. Swashbuckler, not a literary society!

Swash, at the top right, you'll see a small blue "faq"...that's where to find the instructions. If you want to italacize type, sandwich your word or words between these two. For bold, it's .

Swash (mind if I call you Swash?) - When you type/reply to a message, on the left side you'll see "UBB Code is ON." Click there, and a new window will pop open and explain it all.

I wanna know why I can only find the smilies legend when I edit my post, rather while I am typing.

some I know, like "eek" and confused" but others I have to look.
why have to edit?

Thank you all very much for your assistance.

Marian,

we all know you went out and bought Man in the Iron Mask. No need trying to pass it off as a present from someone. You secretly love Music Violators' scores.

Now, now... JJH, Man in the Iron Mask isn't an MV score, as Nick Glennie-Smith isn't "officially" a part of MV.

NP -- Sleepers, John Williams, this is really starting to grow on me. I couldn't stand it for the longest time. Now it's one of those that gets better as time goes by I suppose.

Me? Bought it? Ha!
It's no real MV score? Hm, it sounds that way...

Re Sleepers - Works very well in the movie, a bit "unexpected" on CD, but still good, although I don't play it often. But "The Football Game" is one hell of a great track!

Nick Glennie-Smith has helped on enough Zimmer scores to be classified an MV composer. And his sound is close enough to warrant that association. Trevor Rabin, too.
Yes, I have unfairly pigeon-holed them. I freely admit this.
