Well here is the bad news everyone. The soundtrack will be released on Island Records in June 6th and according to amazon.com it has a parental advisory label on the front. So there’s your answer no score album AAAAAHHHHH!--Kyp

No score album . . . yet.Do you know for sure there's no score? Isn't MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 2's being released, like, a month after the movie opens or so? Maybe the same will apply to 60 SECONDS.
And how can the CD have a parental advisory on it? The movie's rated PG-13, so they will only be allowed one "F"-word. How can a PG-13 movie have songs that need a parental advisory?

I just checked at Amazon. That have "Soundtrack (Explicit Lyrics)" and "Soundtrack" slated for a June 6 release. Perhaps the "soundtrack" is the score, while the "Soundtrack (Explicit Lyrics)" is obviously the song album?

Just thought this would be kind of interesting--here we have a post where people can't wait for Trevor Rabin's score release, and yet there was the post regarding Con Air's score and how so many people absolutely abhor the 'unsophisticated' guitars and how those composers can't really write music.I will leave it to the rest of you to extract whatever it is I mean by bringing that up.
As for the score, I am pretty anxious to hear the music myself, but I don't know about the movie itself though.

Yes but his scores after Con Air, were pretty good, Armageddon, Jack Frost, and Deep Blue Sea. He is getting better.Look how James Newton Howard used to be, and look at him now.

Was just scrolling around, and found this thread lying around.......I saw the movie at its first "work print" screening a while back. Mr. Bruckheimer was in attendance (behind me, and to the left). I spotted him in the foyer after the screening & decided to ask about the actual score - the print was temp-tracked with really generic techno-pop.
Shoulda seen his face when I asked which of the Media Ventures guys was going to be doing the score!

As to the movie itself: I signed a form promising that I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT GET ON THE INTERNET AND WARN YOU ALL NOT TO PAY FOR IT BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING INHERENTLY TERRIFYING ABOUT AN EFFETE VILLAIN WITH A SPOTTY ENGLISH ACCENT, WAY-TOO-CUTESY HANDHELD-CAMERA ACTION SEQUENCES, OR WATCHING NICHOLAS CAGES' DESCENT FROM AN ACTOR INTO A PAID PERFORMER; OR THAT ROBERT DUVALL IS RECYCLING HIS "TOP CAR", ERRRR, "DAYS OF THUNDER" ROLE; OR THAT "POPCORN" MOVIES SHOULD SHOULD HAVE SOME SALT & BUTTER ON THEM -- NOT DROOL.
So I won't say anything like that.
