Having recently seen THE SIXTH SENSE I was reminded of great scores for this kind of film like POLTERGEIST. I must say that THE SIXTH SENSE is not a great score. Which ones are your favorite?

I enjoyed James Newton Howard's score for STIR OF ECHOES. Perhaps not enough to actually buy it, but it works wonderfully in the film (though the pounding does go a little overboard when Kevin Bacon is shouting for the police, after the kid shoots himself). Much more enjoyable than his score for THE SIXTH SENSE.
