This film will be out June 9 in the states but the official site still doesn't carry any information on the track listing of the CD. I fear that this soundtrack will be a song-driven one with maybe just a "Gone In 60 Seconds Montage" from the score by Trevor Rabin. If so, then let's hope and pray for a score release in addition to the pop CD.

    Any info on this matter?

    Hey there,
What would be my guess. I think the label is Capitol Records, but I'm not sure. And I would also guess that it will be a various artists release because of the nature of the film.

Rabin? I thought Zimmer was scoring it. Did he have to leave because of a scheduling conflict?

Is there any doubt that this will be (at least at first) a compilation album?

    Dex,

Zimmer "could" have left due to scheduling conflicts. The man's got M:I-2, Gladiator and The Road to El Dorado to score, and I strongly think that he could have passed on the project.

I think Rabin will do a good job. I loved "Armageddon" and "Deep BLue Sea" was good.
