Marian Schedenig Oscar® Winner	PeterK, did you deliberately turn off the image feature, or did something else happen? I found it a great feature, and a thread that I want to start soon would need it. NP: Dead Again (Doyle; very good)

Audacity Oscar® Winner	It probably takes up too much space on the server. People were taking advantage of it by posting ridiculous pictures with no meaning. It is a feature we do not need. Audacity

Jeron Oscar® Winner	Guys, PK didn't want images on his message board who's links would become broken at any time in the future. When there are broken image links embedded into messages, it really starts to make things look trashy. I think PK likes this feature too, but realistically nothing lasts forever, and eventually any images in the threads would become broken at one time or another. This is how I understood him... is that on target, Peter? Jeron

PeterK FishChip	They say a picture is worth a thousand words. The way pictures were being used (tossed) around here left and right weren't worth five words. The real reason I disabled the feature is for the same reason I would delete any thread: none of the pictures were on topic at all, and were becoming quite a nuisance. Furthermore, these pictures are linked from other web sites, which gives me two more reasons I don't like them here: the pictures will eventually be removed, and, if the webserver the picture resides on ever goes down or crashes or simply gets turned off, the actual page here on the message board will never load because it's waiting for the picture to completely load. A height/width attribute for the picture would resolve this, but nobody should be forced to get that technical. I hope this answers your questions! PeterK NP - "An Almost Perfect Affair" by Delerue

Chase&August unregistered	Why not just add an "Anything Goes" section that can be the home of off-topic threads and a place for pictures, but keep the pics confined to that one page only?
