Where IS old Thomas? I got the same e-mail about that virus, yet I managed to get a letter BACK from him, commiserating about my father passing away (which was sweet of him), and later he made a single post somewhere (I should have saved it). I've e-mailed him SEVERAL times, the mail never comes back "undeliverable," so I really don't know WHAT'S happened to him. Honestly, I'm a bit worried.

See, Tom, just like I've been telling ya, you're well missed.

All that I know is that I mailed him some Ad art,and have not heard from him for over a month. That is why I ask...because of a loss of a friend,H.H."Sandy"Smith,an old, long gone friend. He was like an old friend that I have NEVER met, in the flesh. I would call him up on Fridays nights, and we would talk for hours on scores, and this one,and that one,we would talk...and I learned something.A good friend, who will be sorely missed along with others....some of my roots...Best Always,Valere

    I'm sorry about your friend.

But join the club: Thomas is in virtual limbo. (Last e-mail I got from him, he even seemed to want to meet me in person, next time he passed through NYC. He didn't seem like someone planning to vanish. Who knows.)

    'ey, you're most welcome.

I just e-mailed this whole page to Mr. Scofield ... but I doubt that that in itself will flush him out. Something very specific must be going on. I can only wish him well. (It's not like he took off in a huff, he sounded fine the last time we "spoke." Something seems wrong to me ... I just hope he comes through it.)

NP: THE MUMMY (1999) (come back, Tom, you can tell me why the Hammer score is better than the Goldsmith score!) (Well, who knows if you would, but I'll grasp any any proverbial straw.)

    I'm sorry, too, Valere.

H: There's nothing wrong with the e-mails not coming back to you. e-mails are only returned as undeliverable if there's a problem with the server. If Tom's own computer is making problems, it just means that your mails are on the server, but he hasn't had the chance to get the from there. The question is: Will they still be there when he finally can access them again - some (most?) servers delete them after a specified period of time.

    Also waiting for Tom's return...

NP: The Cider House Rules (over and over again)

PS: Talking about it: Has anybody heard of Jens? After a brief re-appearence on the "old board" using a different nick, he's completely vanished.

I think Jens was fed up with all the bickering that became prevelant on the FSM board and decided to leave. He now posts (a lot) on the FilmTracks board.
