Geoffrey Burgon is an underrated composer of underrated scores (he's a respected concert composer, though). I did not care much for his ROBIN HOOD score, but I absolutely ADORE his scores for TV, especially BRIDESHEAD REVISITED and CHRONICLES OF NARNIA. Both exquisitily english/pastoral.Can someone help me get the BRIDESHEAD REVISITED: THE TV SCORES OF GEOFFREY BURGON from Silva? I've been looking for it for years (to a reasonable price).

Two that spring to mind are...Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond cyberspace - Robert Folk. Never seen the film, but superb large scale orchestral score performed by the great London Sinfonia composed by the much under rated Robert Folk.
Last of the Dogmen - David Arnold. Sandwiched between Stargate and Independance Day, one of Arnold's best scores to date from the earliest and finest period of his career. Such a promising talent - what happened?

Great suggestions above! A few others...Fried: "The Cabinet of Caligari"
Eidelman: "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country"
Herrmann: "Beneath the 12-Mile Reef"
Lewis" "Madwoman of Chaillot"
Waxman: "The Silver Chalice"
Mancini: "Oklahoma Crude"
North: "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolff?"
Shire's "Taking of Pelham 1-2-3"
Williams' "Sleepers" and "Rosewood"; "The Cowboys"
Doyle: "Love's Labours Lost" (great orchestrations of classic songs to boot)posted 06-02-2006 03:28 PM PT (US)

try the FilmMusik comp by Stefan Nilsson... contains the main tracks from 'Pelle The Conqueror' and other good stuff.
http://www.scorereviews.com/title.asp?id=280and if you haven't heard Delure's 'Tours du Monde, Tours du Ciel' do yourself a favor and find a copy.
