    Just read this at www.dailyradar.com

"According to various sources around the Internet, Tim Burton is in negotiations with the Disney folk to create a sequel to The Nightmare Before Christmas. Your Radar Reporter hasn't been able to officially confirm this yet with our secret undercover sleuths at the House of Mouse, but it seems like a pretty safe bet. The flick grossed over $50 million at the box office, plus sold tons of merchandise."

I, for one, hope this happens. I loved 'The Nightmare Before Christmas,' and Elfman's songs and score were great, and I'd love for them to make a sequel. Thoughts?

I would be very surprised if this happens. Nightmare was not cheap to make. All that animation had to be done by hand. Hideously expensive.

As far as merchandising goes, at the time of the picture it did not do very well in that department either. I used to work for a distributor that sold these toys and the orders for them were minimal. That is why they are valuable today, not that many people bought them.

But if they did make it, I certainly wouldn't mind!

    A sequel?!

Obviously, the producers of the sequel(and the forthcoming sequel to SILENCE OF THE LAMBS) are glaringly unaware of the "SPEED syndrome"
