I might be the biggest Elfman fan in this room, but I'm still no walking encyclopedia on the man. So I was wondering if any of the music from the two (?) DARKMAN sequels was ever released, and if those scores had large proportions of Elfman's themes in them (the IMDB credits Elfman with "musical themes" for the two sequels, but that isn't really saying much, now is it?). Thanks.

The Sequels to DARKMAN were scored by Randy Miller who used elfman's DARKMAN theme in his score.

To Date no music from the sequels has been issued.

Randy Miller also scored HELLRAISER III, at least nominally ... a lot of the music seemed to be either tracked from or adapted from Christopher Young's previous two HELLRAISER scores. (I saw a remarkable scene at a Fangoria convention that was cut from HELLRAISER III's final version, with a lovely flute arrangement of Young's theme -- this was eight years ago, so memory is touchy, but I was pretty sure it was Miller's version, not Young's.)

HELLRAISER III was the first Hollywood picture ever recorded in Moscow (at a politically very weird time there ...) There were both song and score releases on CD. I'm no big fan of its director Anthony Hickox, but I did think HELLRAISER III was superior to HELLBOUND -- more coherent, at the very least. I haven't seen any subsequent HELLRAISERs (I know there's the one that takes place in outer space, but I can't bring myself ... )

Randy Miller's a good composer who doesn't seem to have gotten many breaks. Alas. (No, I don't know him personally. But I liked his first album release, AND YOU THOUGHT YOUR PARENTS WERE WEIRD, on the defunct Bay Cities.)
