Has anyone picked up this score by Anne Dudley? I've heard it has it's moments... if you have it, what do you think?

    Thanks,
    Jeron

I was unimpressed with the score in the movie and would not buy the album. I guess I am just spoiled by previous TV miniseries scores by Trevor Jones.

    Al,

I see exactly what you mean. Trevor Jones' scores for Gulliver's Travels and Merlin are great. Richard Harvey, Richard Hartley and the rest can't quite seem to match Jones' quality. I liked some of the music from 10th Kingdom, but not enough to buy the score.

Although, Moby Dick by Christopher Gordon is a fantastic TV movie score.

I myself watched the miniseries, no easy task at 10 hours, and while I believe that Anne Dudley should've pulled a "Ving Rhames at the Golden Globes", called David Newman to the stage, and given him her Oscar, I really enjoyed her score, though some of the track titles...does anyone know if she's been hanging around with Don Davis?
