What are you talking about, Swash? My "Crocodile" Dundee score lists 12 tracks, and the CD has exactly 12 tracks, running 32mins. & 28secs.

Maybe you have a different version?

NP: Crocodile Dundee - "Opening Title Theme" ****/***** (I really like this score.)

    I should have said...

The inside cover lists 22 tracks on my CD. The listing on the back is accurate. It's just that some of these tracks, such as "Mind Over Matter" are really interesting in the film, and it would have been nice to have had them on the album.

Hey, Camillu, I just bought, after a long period of distant admiration, Michael Kamen's delicious score for What Dreams May Come. The individual tracks are indexed!

One of my CD players has an indicator to tell you what the index is. It won't let you cue up to the index (thereby really negating any value the indicator might have) but it definitely lists them for What Dreams May Come.

This release is on "Beyond," which is distributed by BMG, so I guess anyone can do this, but this is the most recent release in memory to have indexes.

    What exactly does indexed mean?

I have a normal sony hi-fi system, and I don't think it has this feature you're referring too.

I must agree, it is a delicious score

NP : Fear Main Titles (Burwell) [thanks JJH]

An index is a track-within-a track. It's a nifty feature that never really caught on.

I find that "Rat Race" has some pretty funny titles, such as

From a Rocket Car to a Nut Bus
    A Family on Drugs!
    Let's Meet Our Contestants
I Lost My Heart to a Dog
    Helicopter Dance

Though I find it irksome that John Powell (or whoever created the titles) decided to combine some of them with "and" instead of a slash mark:

Pollini Wakes and Owen Gets Some Clothes
Switch Keys and Should Have Bought a Squirrel
The Lucys Chase Owen and Third Reich in the Parking Lot

Overall, I think that these are some of the best track titles of the year.
