Just wanted to say hi, all. I'm from the FSM board (though I only posted a few times there), but I just wanna say I'm joining this board. It appears to be full of very intelligent people, and I've noticed quite a few FSMers here, as well.Dantoris, it appears the battle between us continues on a new frontier (probably only you will know what I mean by that).
To the others, it's not a hate battle. Perhaps Dantoris would care to explain it more fully?Anyway, hello to all you and I look forward to becoming involved with many interesting posts.
By the way: how many times do I have to post to get that "hasn't posted much" thingy off my name, and what does NP mean?

El Cid begins as Dex enters the throne room...
Welcome to MovieMusic.com!!
It used to be thrity posts before you're status was changed to "Member" but I think it might be twenty now.
"NP" stands for "Now Playing," so you tell us what you're listening to at the time you're writing the post. Most folks like to put the title, the composer, and then rate the score out of five stars, e.g.:
Wild Wild West (Elmer Bernstein, ***/*****)
Once again, welcome.

Hello, Dex. Good to see you here. I really enjoyed your "Film Music: For Guy's Only?" thread over at FSM and was looking forward to more topics from you, but you seemed to disappear. Anyhow, you're here now, and welcome! To everyone else: the battle she mentioned above is this - if you read the origin of my username in my other post, you'll know Dantoris is a Master Vampire from a short story I wrote. Well, the story was called "Dex: The Vampire Hunter." Dex eventually hunts down Dantoris and kills him by impaling (sp?) him on a holy water-soaked cross. (Perhaps Dantoris didn't die after all - I'm here, aren't I). When Dex first appeared on the FSM board, I made her aware of the connection, and joked that I was still alive and that we would soon have to battle each other to the death once and for all.

Well, I'm pretty much a newbie on This Board myself, or feel so (haven't quite sorted everybody out -- it's easier at FSM, because there's so FEW OF US LEFT) -- but welcome aboard.NP: PATTON (rerecorded version) (it's great, obviously, but it's MIXED TOO LOW)

I will use Dex's thread to announce my arrival on this Board, as well. I am also from the FSM Board (like a ghost town over there), and have finally signed-up here. Hello to all my old FSM friends, and hello to hopefully some new ones.

Oh great... John, PLEASE look at the dates on those posts. I think you'll find that Dex is no longer hangin' around, and thanks to good ol' Peter's new Search Feature, well - you now have the opportunity to catch up on the entire Dantoris/Dex/Chase&August saga!LOL...

I asked dex out on a date about last year, but she never responded. Maybe it was because of all those naked pictures I sent her.Shaun

To illustrate the power of the new search feature. Humor, too. As well as a reminder that we really don't like being taken for fools.
