OH MY GOSH! If the music in the trailer is indeed James Newton Howard's score, I am getting the CD the day it comes out! I hope Disney released at least an hour of music. It would be a shame to have only 40min.

The trailers can be all found at : http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/dinosaur/trailers.html

Yeah I agree, the score is great.
Has Disney ever released a score if the film didn't have songs? I don't think so, not ever. I'm still waiting on Brave Little Toaster!
Lets also hope Phil Collins is not on the project!

Yes, but guys... Are we forgetting Toy Story (1 & 2) and A Bug's Life?? All three of those got decent score releases... and if anything there WILL be a theme song for the end credits sung by some pop artist... and of course, that will be on the cd. I sincerely think they will release a cd - heck, it's JNH... it's a CG movie... the odds are in favor.

I'll add to this thought. There ARE NO SONGS in the one! All score.

The big question is, how long will the release be?

Even if a song does end up being involved with the movie, James Newton Howard will probably be involved, and his songwriting skills are up there with his scoring abilities. Remember ONE FINE DAY?

I own about every single score written by Newton Howard (even boots and promo's). My point is that I should know JNH's style. The 5 minute trailer shown before Toy Story 2 definitely is JNH's music. Listen to Waterworld, The Postman and Snow Falling on Cedars and you'll hear the resemblence. I'd bet a lot of money on it that it is the score we'll get to hear in the movie. Awesome.

Will the dinosaurs be able to talk like in The Land Before Time? It can be cool if the whole movie does not contain any dialogue. But then again, it will be like an art house movie...
